As science teachers to return to school next school year to prepare, some have already returned, they are always on the lookout for good online resources to complete their courses. It’s always nice when someone helps them, by expressing a preview of the science sites and recommendations.

The best sites are interactive science education, allowing students to make changes or to manipulate variables to observe what is happening and share with others. This is within the boundaries of inquiry-based teaching and learning. Students develop their own experiences, taking into account the results and reports on their findings.

The following sites were visualized, and the criteria for interactive, inquiry-based:

FOSS Web – is designed to support Full Option Science System (FOSS) Science K-8 science kits, but anyone can use interactive activities for grades K – 8

Volcano Webcams – provides real-time view of the volcanoes in the world. Students can observe volcanoes and develop their own experiments with these virtual cams for grades 5-12.

To eLearning – provides simulators for all areas of science, the concept of classes 3 to 12

Real-time flow of the nation – the United States Geological Survey (USGS) provides real-time data are usually recorded at 15 – at intervals of 60 mint and U.S. Geological Survey offices every four hours. The data can be selected by the state and county for grades 8 through 12.

Recycle City – allows students many opportunities to see how the inhabitants of a city to recycle, reduce and reuse waste for grades 3-8 to explore.

MBG Net – allows students biomes, freshwater, marine systems and explore the world on a level 6 to 12
